6. Please read this post on answering Data Response Questions before Friday’s lesson.
7. Please work on this in class on Monday’s lesson. Please complete the following task, for Wednesday, Sept 21st. (1) Bring in an interesting economics article. (2) Find a word in the article that you genuinely dodn’t know the proper meaning of (it can be any word at all –even if it’s not an ‘economics word’), look up the definition and be ready to explain that word to the class. (3) Write down a good question that you could ask about your article –something that maybe isn’t discussed in the article, but that you could research further. You will ask your question in class and maybe use it to have a class discussion (to hopefully have some interesting conversations). (4) On Tuesday, bring in hard copies of your article, your defined word and your question for us to use in class.
6. Please read this note about the parent-teacher conferences. I hope you are able to attend them yourself. I won’t actually get to see you this week because Period 6 is cancelled this week. I would still like you to fill in the reflection sheet (which is attached to the note). However, you don’t need to do it this week. You can do it (and put it into your file, with your other ones) this week if you want, but if you don’t have time we’ll do it in class next week.
